About one approach to model destruction of solid rock underground explosion

On the basis of experimental data on explosions underground, including nuclear, presented the postulates of the physical model of destruction of solid rock. The hypothesis about a new physical phenomenon that bears the hidden nature, which consists in increasing the strength of rocks from the values characteristic of the open surface to pressure values of phase transformation depending on the distances in the interior of structural-tectonic block.

Showing restricted use of traditional materials to increase the rate of dumping by increasing rate. In article method determination sizes range zones of destructions (recrushing, crushing, cracking) from single cylindrical charge taking into account its sizes, range dissipation energy and properties of rock is described. Results of calculation for three type’s granite occurrence of the Gavrilovo Leningrad region are given.
Blasting rocks using a confined blasting method

The article proposes a new method of blasting fragile and yielding rocks. The findings reveal that the porosity and the solidness of rocks have a major influence on rock blasting. New ratios that enable us to determine the area of the zones for regulatory rock fragmentation are presented.
Investigating the blasting of complex structure rock massifs using the confined blasting method

When evaluating the zone of the explosion chamber using the confined blasting method in rocks of different strength it is necessary to account for the movement of the detonation products from the areas of hard rock inclusions to the areas of weak rock. The movement of the detonation products causes a drastic drop of pressure in the drill hole and the termination of the growth of cracks in the areas with hard rock inclusions. The paper presents a scheme for calculating this.

Experimental results of determining the detonation ability of different types and structure explosive mixtures

The experiment results on the estimation of the detonation capability of the various explosive materials of different types and structure: liquid, emulsion, coarsely dispersed based on solid materials. The obtained results prove that the detonation capability of the compound explosives depends on the structure, starting from the perturbance in the molecule arrangement and defects in the primary crystal formations.

An analysis of the inspection record and acts of technical investigations into the accident , which occurred February 11, 2013 at the excavation site of lava 832-th layer of Triple structural unit "Mine Vorkutinskaya" (JSC "Vorkutaugol") , is given in the article. Described the likely mechanism for the spreading and localization of methane and coal dust explosion, described the sequence of the explosion localization by automatic systems ASVP -LV and ASVP-LV.1M , and is given gas-dynamic calculation of the explosion air shock wave caused the observed damages.

As result of analysis of the Inspection record of group accident and Act of the technical investigation of the accident, that take place 11 February 2013 on the excavation site Lava 832-y layer Triple structural unit "Mine Vorkutinskaya " (JSC " Vorkutaugol") it was found that the commission investigating the causes of the accident were not taken into account important facts of circumstances may have led to the accident involving the explosion of methane and coal dust , such as gas-dynamic phenomena and frictional sparking a strong rock cutters executive body of the combine or machine type «Hazemag»; as a result it was incorrectly determined the place of explosion, its reasons and made incorrect the conclusions.
